This Privacy Policy, as amended from time to time (the "Policy" or "Privacy Policy"), governs the Platform's collection and use of your ("User" or "You" or "Your") Personal Data (as defined below). This Privacy Policy is to be read in conjunction with the Terms of Use, Cookies Policy and Disclaimer, as amended from time to time and published on the Website (collectively, the "Governing Policies"). All terms and conditions set out in the Governing Policies shall apply to Users of the Website and are deemed to be incorporated herein by reference. By accessing or using the Website or uploading or downloading any data or content on or from the Website, you would be indicating that You have read, understand and agree to be bound by these Governing Policies, whether or not You have registered on the Website.

Any capitalised term not specifically defined herein shall draw its meaning from the meaning ascribed to the Website's Governing Policies. The Company collects Personal Data (as defined hereinafter) for the purpose of operating and administering various skill development, vocational training, certification, apprenticeship, employment and related programs and initiatives, conducting research, surveys and preparing reports, or providing newsletters (collectively, the "Services"), as well as for the purposes set out in Clauses 3 and 5 below. Company does not use or share User's information with anyone except as described in the Governing Policies, or in relevant parts of the Platform. By using the Platform, You consent to the collection, processing, storage, use and disclosure of your Personal Data in accordance with this Policy. This Policy is governed by the laws of India irrespective of your location. By using the Website, you agree to be bound by this Policy and any amendments made to it from time to time.

USERS
This Website is intended for use by individuals of all ages, including students under the age of 18 (eighteen). By accessing or using the Website, Users confirm that they have the legal capacity to do so under applicable law or are doing so with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian, where required. This Privacy Policy shall not apply to Personal Data that is made or caused to be made publicly available by the owner themselves or by any third party under obligation of any law.

Electronic Identification Data: When Users access the Website, the Company may automatically collect certain technical and usage information for analytics, security, and service improvement purposes:

Referral source;

Save as set out in this Policy, the Company does not collect, store, or retain any financial information provided by Users for the purpose of making payments on the Platform, including credit or debit card details, bank account information used for such payments, or payment authentication data. All such payment transactions made through the Platform are processed exclusively by third-party payment gateways, and any financial data entered during such transactions is handled directly by such service providers in accordance with their own privacy and security policies. The Company may separately collect bank account details, UPI details, or other payment-related information directly from Users solely for the purpose of disbursing scholarships, stipends, incentives, grants, or other benefits under applicable schemes, as described in Clause 3 below.

PURPOSE OF COLLECTION OF PERSONAL DATA
When providing the Services, the Company only processes Personal Data in accordance with the Governing Policies and applicable law. The Company also uses Personal Data from or about its Users for the following purposes:

to create, establish and administer User's account, to respond to User's inquiries related to his/her account and to contact User about Company's Services or account-related matters;
to provide access to skill development programs, job opportunities, certifications, assessments, and other services as requested by the User;
to administer scholarships, stipends, incentives, grants, or other benefit schemes offered by the Company or under applicable government schemes, including disbursement of the same to eligible Users;
to authenticate a User's identity by conducting a due diligence of the documents submitted by the individual;
to provide User with such other services, products and access to such services User explicitly requested for, to resolve disputes, raising tickets, troubleshoot concerns, help promote safe services, measure interest in training, skilling and educational opportunities services;
to inform User about schemes, opportunities, updates, research, and policies related to skill developments and training infrastructure;
to inform User about our communications, publications, newsletters, invitations relating to our activities and such like as you may select, request or as we may consider being may be of interest to you, by post or, where you have specifically agreed to this, by email or similar technology (and you can choose to 'opt-out' of these mailings by informing us at any time if you no longer require communications);
to measure the success of specific campaigns and for general market research; and for registration for events;
to track Company's progress with regard to its skilling mission, and to provide statistics, reports on performance of government's schemes and initiatives to promote skilling and to create a robust skilling infrastructure;
to monitor, maintain and improve Company's Services or features or database;
to understand how Users interact with Company and ensure Company's Services, or features work correctly;
to develop new services, features, programs and promotions;
to understand Users' needs and preferences and customize how Company tailors and markets programs, schemes and Services to Company's Users based on their interest;
to meet legal and regulatory requirements and to allow Company to meet contractual requirements relating to the Services provided to Users;
to conduct surveys on the quality of Services or to collect feedback on the Services;
to recommend specific courses, certifications, or job opportunities on the Platform based on the User's enrolment history and stated preferences, as separately notified to and consented to by the User;
to send User important information regarding the Platform, changes in Terms of Use, user agreements, and policies and/or other relevant information;
to implement information security practices and to determine any security breaches, computer contaminant or computer virus;
to detect, prevent, and respond to technical issues, fraudulent activity, or any unauthorized or illegal use of the Platform;
to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities and suspected fraud;
keeping registers required by law or regulation;
to conduct market or benchmarking research and data analytics by tracking and analyzing current or previously collected Personal Data; and
to use technical information such as cookies and other Data collected to measure and improve the effectiveness of the Platform or enhance the experience for Users. While most of the time this information is depersonalized, however, if this information relates to an identifiable individual, Company shall treat this information as Personal Data.
When possible, Company will use Personal Data in an aggregated and/or de-identified format. Unless required or authorized by applicable law, Company will not use Personal Data for any other or new purpose without obtaining prior consent of User.

CONSENT GIVEN BY USERS
By accessing or using the Platform, or by providing Your Personal Data to the Company, You acknowledge that You have read and understood all Governing Policies for processing Your Personal Data under applicable law. You expressly consent to the collection, use, storage, disclosure, transfer and other processing of Your Personal Data by the Company for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy.

To facilitate the processing of Your request, You are requested to include "Withdrawal of Consent for Processing Personal Data" in the subject line of Your communication. The Company may take reasonable steps to verify Your identity before acting upon such request.

If the User refuses or withdraws his or her consent, or if the User chooses not to provide the Company with any required Personal Data, the Company shall have the option to not provide such User, the services that can be offered on our Platform. In the event of revocation of Your consent the Company will have the right to discontinue the provision of Services through the Platform, or access to the Platform in whole or part to You. The revocation for withdrawal of consent shall not affect the lawfulness of processing of any Data or information based on the consent before its withdrawal.

USE OF PERSONAL DATA
In addition to the purposes provided above for collection of Personal Data by the Company, the Company may use the Personal Data of the Users for the following legitimate uses without seeking the User's consent as provided under applicable laws:

fulfilling any obligation under Applicable Law, including disclosure of Personal Data to the Central Government, State Government or any of their instrumentalities;

preventing, detecting, investigating or prosecuting fraud, cyber incidents or other unlawful activities, or protecting the security and integrity of the Platform, its systems and Users;

such other purposes as may be permitted or required under applicable law.

DISCLOSURE OF PERSONAL DATA
Company will not sell, rent or trade Personal Data to any third party. However, Company may share Personal Data when authorized and/or required by applicable law or as follows:

Sharing with Government Authorities: The Company may, without prior intimation, share any information collected by it including Personal Data with any government authority as and when such information is legally sought from the Company. The Company may upon receipt of an order, provide Personal Data under its control or possession, or provide assistance to the government agency which is lawfully authorized for investigative or protective or cyber security activities, for the purposes of verification of identity, or for the prevention, detection, investigation, or prosecution, of offences under any law for the time being in force, or for cyber security incidents.
Third Party Service Providers: Company may grant access to Personal Data to third-party service providers to provide services on the Platform, in connection with the performance or the improvement of its Platform and Services. Before sharing any Personal Data with any of its third-party service providers, We request the third party to maintain reasonable Data protection practices for maintaining the confidentiality and security of Personal Data and preventing unauthorized access. Such third-party service providers may include cloud hosting providers, payment gateway processors, communication (SMS/email) delivery providers, and analytics providers, as may be updated periodically.
Internal Access and Group Entities: Personal Data may be accessed by authorized personnel within the Company, its affiliate(s), subsidiary(ies), and associate entity(ies) on a need-to-know basis to perform certain duties in line with the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy. The designated administrative users and functional teams may be granted access to specific Personal Data as necessary to carry out the operational responsibilities.
Advertising: The Company may adopt an advertising-supported model in the future wherein certain non-personally identifiable data may be shared with third-party advertisers, advertising networks, and analytics providers. This data shall help present general insights into user demographics and preferences to enable delivery of relevant, interest-based advertisements. The Company shall not undertake behavioural tracking, monitoring, or targeted or interest-based advertising directed at Users it knows or has reason to believe are below the age of 18 (eighteen).
Administrative and Legal Reasons: Company cooperates with government authorities and law enforcement officials and private parties to enforce and comply with the applicable law. Thus, the Company may access, use, preserve, transfer and disclose User's information, including the Personal Data, to government authorities or law enforcement officials or private parties as the Company reasonably determines necessary and appropriate:

If upon modifying or changing the information earlier provided to Company, the Company finds it difficult to permit access to its Services to the User due to insufficiency/ inaccuracy of the information, then the Company may, in its sole discretion terminate access to the Services provided to the User.

DATA RETENTION
We retain your Personal Data for a period no longer than is required for the purpose for which it was collected or till the time the consent is withdrawn by You. However, We may retain Data related to You if there is a legal obligation to retain the Data under any applicable law or if required to comply with any applicable statutory or regulatory retention requirement by law or if required for the purpose of publishing any statistical reports etc.

DUTIES OF USERS
The User shall comply with all applicable laws while providing Personal Data in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
