NSDC has strategically kept its organization structure lean, by design; in order to have high agility, nimbleness and responsiveness in its operations. It relies heavily on best-of-breed external consulting organizations to augment the core team of NSDC officers in various functional areas. NSDC's team of committed and energetic managers work closely with the colleagues in Government of India, State Governments, Corporate Sector, Training Partners, Sector Skill Councils and other stakeholders.

Manish is responsible for providing a strategic vision to NSDC in ensuring that the team moves cohesively in one direction toward achievement of the Prime Minister’s Skill India Mission. Manish also represents NSDC at domestic and international fora. He is also the official spokesperson for NSDC.

Jayant represents the voice of industry in the skill development sector and supports various initiatives such as reforms, capacity building and operational effectiveness in NSDC’s skilling eco system. Jayant is also responsible for optimum utilization and efficient monitoring of various resources available within the organization. Jayant represents NSDC at domestic and international fora and is also the official spokesperson for NSDC.

Prakash is a Chartered Accountant, having more than 25 years of work experience across different industries/sectors. His main role is to ensure all financial and legal processes are in place, resulting in smooth functioning of the organization at all levels.

Ravi is a Company Secretary and a law graduate, with a rich experience of managing statuary and day-to-day legal compliance of an organization at different levels. He is currently in Secretarial department at NSDC, and is also responsible for ensuring all the regulatory compliance and communicating the same to the respective stakeholders.

Jaikant is the Head of Strategy and Programme Development team at NSDC. His role at NSDC involves new business opportunities in the skills space. He is also responsible for managing State engagements and developing the research base for skills at NSDC.

Rajiv heads the Standards and QA team at NSDC. He and his team are instrumental in making new Sector Skill Councils and optimizing the operations of the existing ones. They guide and support the Sector Skill Councils in developing the National Occupational Standards (NOS). These standards are then used by the Educational and Training setups to build a unified outcome based curriculum. In addition he and his team works very closely with Central Ministries, State Governments, State School Boards, Universities, Skill Missions, AICTE, UGC etc. to ensure curriculum alignment and NOS based Assessment and Certification done by the Sector Skill Councils in partnership with the respective entities.

On behalf of NSDC, Ranjan leads the preparation of Indian contingent for participating at the WorldSkills International Competition, which happens in a different country every two years. Over 1100 competitors from 59 countries participate in nearly 50 skills at these competitions.

Dr Poti leads skill development in Jammu, Kashmir and North East Region (NER). Primarily ensuring deployment of key initiatives and schemes of NSDC through a focussed strategy and plan. Dr. Poti has industry and consulting experience of approximately 20 years with ITC, Hewitt Associates, Deloitte, Toyota Kirloskar, Tatas and Crompton Greaves. She has undertaken a doctoral program from IIT Madras and is a Chevening Awardee 2015.

Mahesh leads partnerships with corporates, public sector enterprises, industry associations and government agencies to setup demand-driven greenfield skill development institutes and upgrade brownfield ones, through CSR and other financing methods. He also works on the World Bank supported STEPPP program with specific focus on evolving a competitive skills fund, explore alternate skilling models, setting up a technology assisted M&E system, and evolve cross-cutting programs focused on enhancing trainer capacity, addressing needs of vulnerable populations and increasing overseas employment.
